Construction invoice template for Mauritius
Construction jobs are paid in stages, and each stage needs its own invoice. One that separates labour from materials, refers to the quote and names the stage ("Deposit", "On completion of roofing") gets approved faster and causes fewer arguments.
This template shows a typical renovation stage bill. For bigger jobs, send a quotation first and convert it, so the numbers match to the rupee.

Tips for construction & renovation invoices
- Put the quote number and the stage in the description. "Stage 2 of 4, per quote DEV-0012" heads off most disputes.
- Bill materials at cost with the supplier receipt attached, or with your margin built in. Either way, pick one approach and stay consistent.
- Keep the invoice serial numbers sequential across jobs; auditors and main contractors both look for gaps.
